Use a Diet Diary

The threat that the present generation face today is Obesity. Researchers say that the main reason for obesity is that the people don't have a proper control over their diet. Though there are various ways of reducing the weight, "Maintaining a proper diet" is quite essential. A proper diet is when you eat less fat, more vegetables, fruits and whole grains. People should avoid eating oily food stuffs. So in order to lead a healthy life one must have a proper diet and must do regular exercise. But how much ever we try to be in strict diet, we may easily lose control over our diet if we don't keep track of our diet. So maintaining a food diary heps the weight watchers. A Food diary is one which maintains a detailed account of what we eat and drink and the amount of calories it contain. Keeping a food diary is a powerful tool for the people who wish to lose their weight. A study made by U.S. researchers showed that those who maintained a diet diary lost about twice as much as the weight as those who did not maintain a diet diary.
