The Beijing Olympic games have been dominated by the home country,China. China has more than 530 Chinese contenders in the Olympic games and have started the game with good domination.The US have been far behind the Chinese in the total number of golds.It was Phelps who came to the rescue of US.The man with his long arms has won nine golds all together in various swimming events.the man won his ninth and record setting gold in the 200 meter butterfly event held last Wednesday.He surpassed the records of the famous swimming legends Mark Spitz and Carl Lewis in the total number of golds obtained in the Olympic games in a single event of Swimming.Phelps has also set world records in his victories this year.The new world record he has set in the 800 meter free style relay helped the US with a lead in that event.The man has great determination and aspiring thoughts.He says that 'Nothing is impossible and all that it takes to succeed is imagination'.It seems like this man all set to make more more world records at ease.
